Vedat Tek (1873-1942) Birinci Millî Mimarlık Akımı' nın öncülerinden olan mimar, İstanbul'da doğmuştur. Galatasaray Lisesi' nde okuduktan sonra Paris'e öğrenim için gönderilen Vedat Tek, ülkeye çok değerli eserler bırakmıştır.
