Today we have the privilege of hearing from Abigail Rose Burton, about the life of her son, Matthew.
From early on, Matthew, experienced concerning and confusing health issues, but it was not until he was 4.5 years that they were finally given a name for his condition. Only shortly after his diagnosis, Matthew sadly passed away at the age of 5.
Abigail shares this journey with us- from the early moments of his life, through the years of medical care and the confusion that comes with an unnamed condition.
Abigail also shares about her passion for parents who care for children with special needs, especially in regards to their self-care. This passion has led her to start an online group named Self-care for Parents with Special Needs Families Community.
