What?! Could it be that people on the left of the political spectrum tend more towards mental imbalance than those on the right?? Or maybe those on the right are simply less willing to admit that doctors have suggested they get mental help? And in either case: could it be true that women tend more towards mental instability than do men? What IS the whole truth here? In any case, this PEW research center survey graph could be a real hornet’s nest. Who is brave enough to poke a stick into it, and analyze it from more than a single perspective? Well, I am, for one! And lest you doubt my sanity for even picking up such a “hot potato” in the first place, look to the right-most column: “conservative men age 65+” - and you’ll see that I am in the most SANE group of all, so maybe you should give me a listen!
