What is it that possesses some people and causes them to hurl vile insults, showing their ugliest characteristics when interacting with others through the internet? Wouldn’t it be nice if everyone were to remember that the individual “on the other end” is also a human being, no matter what his/hers views, and therefore deserves to be shown at least a basic degree of respect? Disagreeing with others is natural, but can’t we keep our discussions on a decent level, instead of resorting to “demonizing” others?
