This week on Zack’s Corner we watched The Invitation (2015)! In this film we see Will meet all of his friends at his ex-wife’s house for a dinner party. It has been two years since anybody has seen Eden and her new husband David and this party seemingly comes out of the blue. There is a lot of tension from the past and it looms large over the whole evening. But that doesn’t seem to be all the weirdness that is occurring. Is there anything more going on? Are they in a cult? Is Will actually crazy? All of these questions and more are answered right here on Zack’s Corner! This movie creates beautiful tension and explodes in an intense flash. I would highly recommend watching this film before listening to the review because it really is that good. This film has a slow burn but has an amazing payoff! Just have some patience and you will be richly rewarded. I love this movie so much and you guys are going to as well! I promise!
