Description

Our guest today is the founder and owner of Pocketi, Penny Pang. A business started out from a desire for donuts and all things food related. Penny is entrepreneurial minded and thought why do people tend to shame others for wanting to eat donuts, she later thought that this applies to other areas of life. If you're a foodie, nerd, anime weeb, whatever, just embrace it. It's part of you and there's nothing wrong with that.

Now she's built a business that sells its clothing overseas as well as Australia whilst working a full time job at the NSW Police Force. We sat down and caught up with Penny to talk about the importance of being upfront and transparent with your employers if you work a day job, just get started on your ideas and figure things out along the way and how helpful it can be to have a mentor to hold you accountable for your goals and guide you when needed.
