Sometimes you think you're in the "fast lane" when you end up being passed by others in another lane. This happens in stores, on the highway, in jobs, etc. The problem isn't that you're being "passed" - the problem is that you compare.

We are all constantly comparing ourselves to arbitrary standards and lives of others on social media. "I don't have as nice of a car/house..." "I don't make as much money..." "Their life seems perfect!" Blah, blah, blah.

Ultimately, you are competing against no one but yourself every single day. The only person you should be comparing yourself to is you.

Where in your life have you been playing the comparison game and how has it affected your mood?
