Michael "Chief" Peterson is a dean of students and also the first poet laureate of New Britain, Connecticut. In this interview, he discusses being a single father and how he navigates that task raising three young children. He also talks about not having his own father around while he was growing up and what the experience was like when he met him for the first time as a grown man.
