Kristin and Brian are back to discuss the experience of starting a new house church including the struggles and the victories. They encourage potential future house church leaders and/or new work starters to embrace the uncomfortable and unexpected as they step out into kingdom building efforts. They also discuss 1st Samuel 10 as Saul is about to be anointed "king" of Israel. We may scoff at Israel's need for this lesser king, but often do the same in our own lives as we build up many idols around us that end up taking the place of God for the joy, hope, and peace we seek.
