What is it?
- Interpretation: Wisdom and Truth is better than all desire
- Entrepreneurial Application: The essence of business is to provide meaningful service. A desire for money, ego, status, or employee of the month perishes in the face of that true essence of business.
Where has it shown up in my life?
- The more I get to my true self, the less my distracting desires have power.
Where do I want it to show up in my life?
- Have every moment focused on serving others. Act like the people I’m called to serve are watching my life, knowing I have the capability to help them. Would they think I’m squandering my time?
How can you apply it to your life?
- Get authentic. Don’t judge your desire, but question what true part of yourself it points to and then figure out a constructive way to express that.
