In this episode of My Life Without Limits, Carlos and Leah chat with Gavin Thomas a U of C student who is passionate about volunteering, cycling and raising awareness about cerebral palsy. He is hosting a fundraiser where he is attempting a virtual “Everesting.” This is when a cyclist rides the equivalent height of Mount Everest (29029ft of elevation gain; 8848m) in the form of hill repeats. Due to weather concerns, this will be done on the virtual cycling platform (Zwift), with the aim of completing it in under 12 hours. How cool is that??
