Description

On today’s episode I had the privilege of hosting the Dream Riders, associated with the organization NAKASEC (National Korean American Service & Education Consortium) and Affiliates, on their Journey 2 Justice involving Citizenship 4 All. These individuals have taken on the arduous task of cycling border to border, from Seattle to San Diego, in an attempt to raise awareness and revitalize a moral consciousness. These riders are demanding a clear pathway to citizenship for all non-citizens who’ve been denied the opportunity, including undocumented immigrants and intercountry adoptees. 1 in 6 Korean Americans are undocumented, and suffer from not being able to access certain material needs/programs in order to fully subsist themselves. We sit and converse about the dualities of identity, what Citizenship 4 All means, positives and negatives to riding across country, and what they hope to achieve. Please join us in solidarity with these nomads.
