Russia warns of “Third World War” after learning of Ukraine’s plan for a ceasefire
Ukrainian forces are regaining ground in the south and east of the country but there are concerns of a major response from the Moscow, which could bring about a new, more brutal stage of the war.
Russia still sees itself as the preeminent force in Eastern Europe and reacted strongly to the suggestion of any checks on that power.
“The Kyiv camarilla gave birth to a project of ‘security guarantees’ which are a prologue to the third world war”, said Dmitry Medvedev, the vice president of the Russian Security Council, writing on Telegram after the proposals were released.
“Of course, no one will give any guarantees to the Ukrainian Nazis, after all, it is almost like applying Article 5 of the NATO Treaty”, he said. “If these idiots continue to pump the Kyiv regime without brakes with these types of weapons, sooner or later the military campaign will go to another level.”
“Everything will flare up around them. Their people will seize grief to the fullest. Their earth will literally burn, and concrete will melt. We will also get a lot. It will be very bad for everyone,” Medvedev added.
This is my opinion.
I do not believe we are going to see the demise of Russia, because the Bible describes a strong, arrogant Russia in Ezekiel 38. Which is when Russia will attempt an invasion into Israel and God will intervene and defeat the coalition. Ukraine, with the help of western armament, may be seeing some small victories in their fight against Russia. However, Putin is not going to allow the war to finish with a defeat, and he is more likely to feel like a nuclear attack is appropriate. We are on a knifes edge for World War 3.
