Texas gunman posted his deadly plan online
The Texas gunman who murdered 19 children and two teachers
The gunman, identified as 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, Ramos fled the home he shared with his grandmother after shooting her in the face. He then crashed his car near Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. He entered the school through a back door carrying an AR-15 assault-style rifle and wearing tactical gear.
The text of the Second Amendment reads in full: “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
But can I ask, why? Why does an 18-year old child need a AR-15 assault style rifle? Should having a right automatically give you access to the right? Or should you prove you have the necessity and ability to utilise this right? Should you prove that you are of good and responsible character before being given access to this right?
And why is it that an 18-year old is not legally able to access alcohol, yet an AR-15.....?
This is just my opinion.
Just because you have a right, does not make it right.
