Hurricane Ida came ashore the next day, leaving parts of the region under water, roofless and without power. Some of us stayed and helped mobilize extraordinary feats of aid and relief post Ida. Some, like myself, chose to evacuate. I packed my stuff, grabbed two mics, the podtrak and headed east. Spending the next week plus in beautiful Parrish Fl.
