Description

In a rare interview, and his first podcast, Sr. Superintendent Deoraj Gyandat sits down with Kristi Buttles (host of Real Deep Stuff) and Charles Hite (host of The Rabbit Hole Show) to discuss what it takes to run one of the largest prisons in Guyana.

They talk about work-life balance, handling high pressure and quick decisions, parenting his children & educating inmates, and what Gyandat and his prison do differently than other prisons that are making a massive impact on inmates and the community.

Hear Gyandat's unique story including why he chose this profession, the change he works to bring, his positive perspective on seemingly hopeless circumstances, how he cares for his own mental health, and how he does a very challenging job different than most, if not all, as he works tirelessly for the greater good.

One of Gyandat's priorities is to share the key to a meaningful life with inmates to create permanent life change. Hear what that is and the difference it's making in their lives inside and outside of prison to make the best choices every day.

This a must-listen interview with advice everyone can, and should, implement in their own lives.
