Amber Spencer, Head of Customer Development at Damon Motorcycles. Amber has a diverse portfolio of professional experience including marketing, social media, software development, and entrepreneurship. Prior to Damon, Amber founded a computer software company, Epicalls, and Flare Ventures, a technology consulting firm. Amber is a motorcycle enthusiast experienced at riding various bikes, including cafe racers, dirt bikes, and cruisers. She is a member of the WMRC Westwood Motorcycle Racing Club and placed 3rd in her first-ever race. Amber enjoys motorcycle road trips across San Francisco and the Duffy Lake Loop in Canada, but prefers the track to put a powerful bike through its paces and fine-tune her racing skills. She aims to race the Damon Hypersport in the MotoE World Cup in the near future. Amber is also an award-winning fitness competitor and advocate for health and wellness.
Damon is the disruptor leader in the high-performance two-wheel vehicle market—unveiled at CES 2020 the company achieved the best Automotive Innovation and the Digital Trends Best of Show. Damon is leading a new era of transportation which will connect riders to cities and be used for commuting, deliveries, and supply chain for the retail, food industry, and other services. There is a fundamental shift in how we will address these markets post-covid-19.
The company has pre-sold several hundred Hypersport HS and Premier models to millennials, who make up half of the company’s preorders. ….this is a big part of Amber’s job.
The Hypersport represents the first viable solution to bring millennials into motorcycling in a meaningful way. Damon’s preorder data has presented some surprising insights: many of its customers prefer to use motorcycles as their primary transportation as a means to avoid congestion and reduce commute times or due to a lack of available parking spots in modern condos
