This is just another great example ( and huge part of) Bringing Humanity Into Business and Beyond !!! Tony Hsieh, the CEO of Zappos.com is absolutely right about this. Did you know Jaime Masters that Synovus Financial has it in their mission statement is the "Golden Rule"?
Wow that is getting down to basic humanity, don't you agree?
Why is it that more companies isn't having a more human element approach. To have the success of their own employees and to the company be that much greater in achieving the level of success they say they want for their companies, but in reality it is 180° in the opposite direction.
Companies saying team, team, team. But in fact are showing their very own employees it is all about me, me, me.
Why do we let companies do this to us on such a grand scale?

John C. Maxwell has stated that there is a Myth of Leadership in Management, that we equate leadership with management are one and in the same when they are truly not !!! And he is absolutely right about this. Leadership is all about having people follow you, Management is all about workflow and processes. But I would like to see the day when Leaders and Management are truly one in the same.
That is why we truly need to change the status quo when it comes to company culture.
