Red pandas are wonderful, cute, adorable, fun, hormonal, confusing, and a natural part of growing up. This film seeks to explore that, so we will also explore such things! I've been excited for this movie for a while, not just because of cuteness, but also the representation of an Chinese-Canadian story being told through the lens of Domee Shi, who must be in my peer group because I'm seeing shades of my own childhood and growing up learning how to tame the panda. Hopefully my excitement is well-warranted!
