This is the second episode in the series dedicated to learning why people of color, specifically black people in the States, have begun tapping back into their traditional spiritual roots and away from organized religion.
My intention is to show the various nuances of the journeys and educate those that aren't on a similar journey as to why this journey is even happening within our community. I'll feature a different guest each episode with a different practice or take on spirituality outside of organized religion.
This episode features veteran, yoni steam practitioner, youth advocate, entrepreneur, and licensed professional counselor, Belinda Wilder-Cheatam, founder of Divine Energy, LLC.
My favorite thing about this conversation was the unity of traditional practices and western religion. Very beautifully illustrated.
