It's Super Bowl week, and to celebrate we release the first of two football-themed episodes of Yeah Uh Huh. In his career, Dean Simone has game planned against Burt Reyndolds's and Huggy Bear's sons and Giancarlo Stanton as a California high school football coach. He has rocked venues as far away as Tokyo Japan with his band "The Smokin' Cobras", and has thrown down in an old school barroom brawl at the Troubador Club on the sunset strip that featured flying chairs and broken noses. But none of that stuff is why he visited the chatlab recently. "Game Day" is the story of an Italian-American family from Philadelphia who converge on their parents' suburban Philadelphia domicile every Sunday to watch their beloved "Iggles" wage ware agains the NFC East. Football is an aggressive game, but it does not take long to realize the number of personal fouls in the game the Forte family play against one another this particular week far outweighed the transgressions between the birds and the boys. Dean's fingerprints are all over this film in his multi-dimensional role, not the least of which being lead actor. I had a tough time editing this episode down to a manageable length, we talked so long and effortlessly. We had so much fun talking to Dean the episode just seemed to produce itself.
