#DeadpoolandWolverine, the most epic and metarific film in the MCU. Join us as we give a VERY spoiler heavy review, including our thoughts on the movie, the cameos, the characters, the references, the curse words, and everything in between in this fantastic and fun-filled superhero flick!
Also, in the world of the #MCU, we also give our opinions on the return of #RobertDowneyJr as not his beloved Iron Man, but as the newest big bad in comic cinema...the unstoppable #DrDoom. Obviously, we were all shocked by this, but leave it to your boys #BlackSnow and #BigRob to wade through the noise and put our loyal listeners back on the right path.
Americans love the #Olympics and nothing says "Patri-ot-ism" like being bigoted against the LBGTQ+ community. And this summer is no different as we have been dealt a double dish of dumb takes, involving both the opening ceremony and the alleged gender of one of the athletes. Once again, we stand on business and tell some of our fellow Americans about themselves as blatant #homophobia combined with a gross misunderstanding of both religious freedom and artistic expression, combined with a heaping helping of misplaced #transphobia involving Algerian boxer #ImaneKalefa has created one of the most egregious examples of confirmation bias you're ever gonna see.
And last but certainly not least, we talk about the #2024election, including the stepping aside of President Biden, the ascension of VP/confirmed new nominee Kamala Harris, and the tonal and potential policy shift of this switch so late in the game. Also, we discuss how both sides (mainly the GOP) are way more into the cult of personality than the actual will of the people in our "Democracy."
