Description

In the 1990s, one of the most exciting shows to watch was the American Gladiators and one of the toughest Gladiators to watch was Dallas aka Shannon Hall. Hall would tumble out, doing back hand springs across Gladiator Arena in Los Angeles, CA and got the crowd roaring. In one episode where former Gladiators returned to compete with each other, Dallas took on American Gladiator original, Zap (Raye Hollitt), beating her former combatant, leaving her behind during The Eliminator.

However, there is much more to Dallas, than just being an American Gladiator. Hall was a Miss Fitness America Finalist in 1993, an undefeated Toughwoman Champion, IFBA Platinum Boxing Champion, Wushu San Shou Women's Champion and was in the first professional female boxing match to take place at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY, where she defeated Tara Fernandez in 1:36 of the very first round on a card that was headlined by former World Heavyweight Champion, Buster Douglas. For those that do not know, Douglas was the man who dethroned "Iron" Mike Tyson.

On top of having been a fitness model, TV star, professional boxer and even a stint in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Dallas is a divorced mother of two (with one child having a disability), who experienced some health issues, but is back on track and living in sunny Florida. She is a certified USA Boxing coach as well as fitness instructor.

We caught up with the former American Gladiator, who has an affinity for younger men (aka the queen cougar), a desire to remain healthy, especially during these trying times via a world pandemic and even train the next generation of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters, including her daughter.
