The WBO welterweight title is on the line in Las Vegas as Jeff Horn has his 2nd defense of that title taking on Terence Crawford in what will be an important battle for both guys. Horn wants to prove his worth in the division and Crawford looks to get another world title in another weight class.
In Los Angeles, the WBA featherweight "super" title will be up for grabs as Leo Santa Cruz fights Abner Mares for the second time. They fought three years ago in the same building with Santa Cruz getting the win. We'll take a look at the landscape for this rematch in depth. The co-feature bout is Jermell Charlo against Austin Trout for the WBC super welterweight title. Trout faced Jermall Charlo for the IBF title in 2016 to a decision loss, and now two years later he takes on his brother for the WBC title.
Manchester Arena is the site for the return of former lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury as he takes on Sefer Seferi. People will see what the condition is of Fury in the ring before he steps up and takes on other opponents in the heavyweight division. Also as part of the card there will be a world title on the line as the WBO super lightweight title will be won by either Terry Flanigan or Maurice Hooker. Both are unbeaten and Flanigan is moving up to fight for another world title as he was the WBO lightweight champion. We preview this fight on the show.
