Following a two year investigation, on July 20th, The California Department of Fair Employment and Housing filed a 29-page civil rights and equal pay act complaint in the Los Angeles County Superior Court against video game giant Activision-Blizzard. Linsay and Genevieve dive into the nitty gritty of the legal document and the accusations of discrimination based on gender, sexual harassment, sexual assault and the over arching issues of toxic masculinity and frat boy culture that continues to permeate the gaming industry and community. We also touch on the legal actions being taken against Riot Games for similar issues.
