Marvel’s Hit Monkey on Hulu went largely unnoticed, highlighting the problem Disney has in placing their content on Hulu rather than Disney+. While Hit Monkey is definitely rated R, it is a perfect illustration as to why Disney+ should expand to included rated R content. Hit Monkey was a fantastic series and it’s a shame more people didn’t know about it. While based on one of Marvel’s more obscure properties (following a monkey assassin), Linsay and Genevieve loved the show. The animation kept the feel of the original comic book source material, the writing was a perfect blend of emotion, comedy and action and the voice-over acting was spot on - Fred Tatasciore almost brought us to tears with his Monkey sounds and the character of Bryce seemed to have been written just for Jason Sudeikis.
