I’m here talking to renowned Townsville artist, Peter Lawson who’s had a prolific career as a painter over many decades, creating artworks that showcase our local history and landscapes, some of which are on display here in Charters Towers. He will be here on Friday the 24th to promote his new exhibition A Toast to the Towers. He will also be here Saturday 16th July at the Playhouse, Mosman St. 10 am for a live painting session together.
Come with your HAT, palette, table, paint and implements and paint from the old church.
