As we know, most deserts are in hot regions of the world, evoking imagery of sand dunes and the shifting sands that make them. But, the Guinness world record for the most southerly sand dunes are in a place most won't expect. They are the Victoria Valley dunes, located in Antarctica and reach heights of up to 70 metres. Pack your jumpers if you want to see them though because it gets a bit chilly there.
