We are finally closing the book on Jolly Ole Bridget. Or are we? One thing’s for sure, no matter how many years the Gen X icon has under her belt, she’s not getting any wiser. Nonetheless, Renee Zellweger and Colin Firth have returned to play their classic characters Mark Darcy and Bridget Jones with welcome support from Patrick Dempsey and the legend Emma Thompson. Whether anyone has upped their emotional EQ doesn’t really matter because we always have a blast in the Bridget Jones universe.
