Our "diet" is not just the food we eat, it's the conversations we have, people we surround ourselves with , and media we consume including TV, Magazines and Social.
Cultural messages can form what is called External oppression which contributes to Internalized oppression. Both of which greatly impact our relationship with food and our body image.
Having integrity with what we ingest allows us to do the honest work necessary to heal.
Otherwise we are just pouring salt in the wound.
