In this episode, I talk about how getting on the scale can be very triggering if we are struggling with food and how it further disconnects us from our Body Wisdom.

Like many, I used to get on the scale and let that number mean something about my worth as a human and it influenced how the rest of the day would go. It affected my mood, self-esteem, and food and exercise choices.

I challenge the "accountability and motivating argument" that I so often hear. Instead of waking up, and "checking in" with a weigh-in, I offer another, more potent and effective way to take care of your health.
