The latest episode of Flash Points was recorded onsite at a volleyball game last week. It was a reminder of the rewards we get from coaching and teaching. I spent 10 years in Manning, IA and it seems like I was reminded of the impact of our time there this past week.
The impact came full circle as I talked about the impact the principal there had on my career and leadership in my latest blog on our website (toddagordon.com) and then having the interaction at the volleyball game last week with a former player.
Hearing the words "Hey Coach" still makes me feel good, especially when it comes from that era in Manning. That was a special time and place of our family.
