NAIDOC week, which is celebrated annually in the first full week of July, stands for 'National Aboriginal and Islanders Day of Observance Committee'.
This years theme is " Because of Her, We Can!".
Gulidjan Woman, Ebony Hickey, gives us a heartfelt welcome to her country.
Then we have a yarn about NAIDOC and events, with Ebony , who works with Wathaurong and established The Gathering Place, as well as Greg Fletcher, who is Community Services Manager with Otway Shire and is an organiser of local NAIDOC events.
