In this episode, our host Dr. Graeme Smith talks to Dr. Nancy Durand about HPV — the shorthand usually used for the human papillomavirus. HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection. In fact, most people who have sex will get HPV at some point in their lives, though many don’t experience symptoms.

About Dr. Nancy Durand
Dr. Durand is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Toronto. She received her medical degree and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from McGill University. She is on staff at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Canada in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her clinical practice focuses on HPV and colposcopy. She teaches at the undergraduate and postgraduate level and speaks nationally and internationally about Human Papilloma Virus and HPV vaccination
