Merry Happy Belated Christmas/Holiday/Festivus to everyone!!! As seems to be the norm lately, we are just trying to keep our heads above water over here and playing catch up. And so, more than halfway through January of this new year, we present to your our 1st hopefully-annual Holiday Special! In this festive sonofab***h we watch the Christmas classic Gremlins, which, yes... Emily has somehow never seen. This was a particularly fun one to watch and discuss and we hope you enjoy listening to it at least half as much as we had fun making it. Tune in and listen to our customary tangent-laden discourse as we deep dive into this family film that features monsters getting killed by blenders or stabbed by moms with Michael Meyers butcher knives, and decapitated by swords on the living room wall, not to mention a hefty human body count... Wait did we say family film? WE ABSOLUTELY DID. Because it is. It just also happens to also be both a Christmas film and a horror film also, so... yay! Oh and how could we forget that super WTF dark Christmas tale that's recounted that would only be slightly less disturbing than if, say The Human Centipede franchise had a holiday installment (somebody fund that NOW!).
