We continue the very, very, very slow burn that is the book Gentleman Jim by Mimi Matthews (think watching a pot, waiting for it to start boil - we desperately need this story to start boiling). Not a lot of action happens in these five chapters but we do learn some important things about our main characters like that Maggie is very indecisive and seems to have a strange reaction to a note from Nick. Also, as always we unpack some theories on why Nick is pretending to be St Clare and won't admit to Maggie who he is. I mean, really, at this point is it even a mystery anymore or just annoying?
