Description

When you think about history makers, I think it is important to not only recognize but celebrate the contributions that young adults have and continue to make in shaping history whether it’s on a worldwide stage or in their local communities. In honor of Women’s History Month, I wanted to recognize four young women, Kiana, Alyssa, Anastasia, and Morgan who range in ages from 14 – 23 years old and are in middle school, high school, college, and medical school.
The conversations that I had with each of these young women was both pleasant and refreshing as they each were able to discuss their faith, friendships, future aspirations in addition to honestly sharing both their personal accomplishments and challenges.
Today’s guest is Kiana Hall, a 23-year-old, first year student at Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas who describes herself as an introvert who loves what she does, missions and children and hopes to one day combine those three passions and serve others. As I reflected on our conversation, I thought it would be appropriate to share this passage of scripture that reads, “the greatest among you will be your servant.” Matthew 23:11 (NIV).
I know that her family must be so proud of what she has already accomplished, and I hope you will pray for the continued success of this young woman.
Thank you, Kiana, for sharing your story with us!
