On today’s episode I have the privilege of not only talking with my sister-friend, Devina Codes, but also celebrating her as one of the women that SDLT has chosen to be a part of our Women's History Maker Series. In this series, we have chosen to bring attention to women who are living their day-to-day lives with intentionality and making a difference in their homes, on their jobs, and within their communities.
So, who is Devina Codes? I am so glad you asked that question. She is a woman of faith, a wife, mother, grandmother, leader in her church, a loyal sister-friend, and a big dreamer! Becuse of the many roles that she plays in her life, on occasion she has been told she is Doin’ Too Much which is the name of the podcast she co-hosts with her two friends, Whitney Storey and Shanika Grant.
During our conversation, Devina also affectionately called “The Dream Whisperer” shares her passion for encouraging others to pursue their dream(s) and fulfill their God-purpose! She believes that the pursuit of a God dream requires us to begin to speak differently, become accountable, and to let go of complacency and fear.
