Dr. Alex Young is a woman who wears many hats. She’s a mother, a Child Abuse Pediatrician, entrepreneur, and a woman of faith. In this episode, she and I will discuss her “why” for starting her new business venture, Custom Health Comprehension, the challenges of motherhood, the benefits of community and the freedom that comes with asking for help and not feeling as though you have to do it all or have it all together!
With her new business endeavor, Alex is on a mission to take the mystery out of medical care by providing a service to individuals who have questions about a diagnosis or prescription. Her goal is to provide medical clarity as she encourages and empowers individuals to become an advocate for their health.
As you listen, I believe you will hear that she is a woman who has a heart and passion for helping which is what her name means, “helper of mankind” and although she truly lives up to that name, she too has had to learn how to set boundaries as she shares her self-care tips.
