Description

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and I was able to have a candid conversation with my friend and fellow advocate Tony Jones who has worked to end violence against women for over 25 years.

Tony who is man of faith, a husband, and father shares how he came to do this important work and why he believes that it is necessary for both men and the responsibility for the faith community to become engages in ending all forms of violence by men against women.

Here are some statistics to consider, according to RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network), the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization and the National Sexual Violence Resource Center:

Due to the prevalence of sexual violence in this nation, I felt as though it was imperative to have this discussion about this both sensitive and challenging topi but so necessary so that each of us in our respective communities can support victims and survivors!
