In today's message Pastor Danny Parga continues in Daniel 9:25-26 where the Angel Gabriel is giving the prophet Daniel the answer for his prayer of repentance and for the restoration of Jerusalem. Gabriel gives Daniel insight and understanding of what is to come.
Last week we saw what God decreed about Daniel’s people and the holy city to finish the transgression. Verse 24
The decree is what Daniel read in Jeremiah book:
“This whole land shall become a ruin and a waste, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. Then after seventy years are completed, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity,
declares the Lord, making the land an everlasting waste.” Jeremiah 25:11-12
God’s judgment of his people was not to destroy them but to bring an end to sin and to atone for their iniquity.
Today we are going to see how God plans to atone and bring everlasting righteousness!
