Gertrude McFuzz was a bird who wasn't happy with who she was. She thought she needed to be more. She thought she needed to be different, but realized that she was happiest as she was created to be. Sometimes God calls us to things that we think don't fit us and we think we need to become someone we are not in order to accomplish what God wants to do. But God always knows who He is calling and what He has in mind to accomplish. The story of Gideon illustrates perfectly God's call on someone who thought they weren't qualified for the job.
