As we launch a series into 1 John, we are reading and understanding that this is a "Dear John" letter. We are saying "So long, Shame. We have found someone else and we are moving on!" We can walk in the truth that everything in God is in the light and there is no hiding or covering up...and because of Christ there is not need for shame. This is the only way for us to fellowship or enjoy relationship with God and others.
