Jesus tells his disciples they are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We are trying to find the sweet spot of being salt that flavors the lives of people around us while not overpowering them with too much salt, and light that illuminate their lives with the truth that is only found in Jesus, while not blinding and turning them away.
