Description

The promised land was given to Abraham and his descendants.  It was a land for them to live in, explore, flourish, and grow in but they left it often and headed back to Egypt when famine and hard times hit.  Egypt was the safe place where at least they knew they had food to survive and make it through.

We entered the promised land of grace when we began a relationship with God through Jesus.  Many of us though, have a tendency to head back to the Egypt of religion and law when tough times hit.    Abraham and his descendants weren't meant for Egypt.  They were meant for the Promised Land.

We were not meant for religious law and obligation. We were meant to live in grace.
