There is so much going on in the world that feels out of control. The situation in Afghanastan, Hurricanes, Fires, political unrest, changes in school policies, and now California is on the verge of passing SB357 which will make it so law enforcement cannot intervene in case of loitering for the purposes of prostitution. It is hard not to feel overwhelmed.
I believe that never before in history is the role of the Parent or Grandparent been so important in influencing our children about values. This generation of young people will live in a technology advanced world where they will be connected to millions of people they have never met. It seems almost hourly the media is filled with stories that simply offend our values. Our role at Million Kids is to prepare adults and teens to live in a world where they know who they are and what they stand for. That they have strong self worth and become leaders to teach the next generation how to live in a world of technology with respect and responsibility.
