Description

Byron 'Psycho Bass' Miller is known mostly for his stellar work with the late icon of jazz funk fusion, George Duke, nailing down the legendary bass solo in the renown classic, "Reach For It". In addition, Byron spent 16 years touring with vocal titan, the late Luther Vandross and nailed bass lines for and with Ndugu Chancellor, Roy Ayers, Santana, Herbie Hancock, Marvin Gaye, Ramsey Lewis, Joe Sample, Rachelle Farrell and on and on.

Most notably, in recent years, Miller (not to be confused with Marcus) is building upon his bass legacy with amazing solo music that keeps funk, jazz and soul absolutely relevant and engaging to funk fans of old while attracting new audiences. His single, "The B Spot" rose to #1 on Billboard's Contemporary Jazz charts.

In this episode, Byron Miller shares his many storied experiences, and provides outstanding advice for burgeoning EntreMusicians (especially bassists).
