Ken Knox is an American rhythm and blues musician, vocalist and songwriter, best known as a member - and now leader - of the soul group, Chairmen of the Board. Knox recorded twelve albums with the group from 1974 through today which includes top hit sellers like "Give Me Just A Little More Time," "Pay The Piper" and "Every Day's Tuesday." He was Vice president of Surfside Records based in North Carolina after Chairmen of The Board let Invictus Records (founded by Holland-Dozier-Holland).
Knox along with founding members General Johnson and Danny Wood were inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame. This unit continued to tour together until 2010. As of 2022, Ken Knox, Thomas Hunter and Brandon Stevens are still performing and continuing the legacy of Chairmen of the Board.
