Description

Andrew Slater is an alternative and folk singer-songwriter from New  Castle, Pennsylvania.   

Andrew’s love for music and songwriting started as a teenager when he  and sang and played in alternative rock bands. For many years after that  Andrew would play in religious settings.   Over the last year and a half Andrew has released 17 songs, from his  debut album Sunny Morning - featuring ("Home" and "Scotland Park") to  his latest singles "Through", "Forward" and "There's a Seat at the  Table" (December 3 2021).  

Andrew's music has been featured on radio stations such as Heart of  Indie radio, local in Western Pennsylvania, as well as independent  stations around the world. Andrew has also been a featured guest on the  Hearts of Nashville radio show and is now a Team Host of The  EntreMusician Podcast.   

Much of Andrew’s writing centers stories about relationships, trauma,  anxiety, faith and hope. His influences include Radiohead, Bob Dylan,  Johnny Cash, and Jason Upton.   

Currently Andrew is writing and recording new material.
