Description

Our Bible Ponder for Holy Week, John 13:21-32, Judas and Jesus at the Last Supper.

Our questions from this reading:

Have you ever felt betrayed?

Maybe it’s been someone close to you, as Judas was close to Jesus, or maybe it’s been a situation; a time in your life where events felt like they conspired against you?

What feelings does the idea of betrayal bring up for you?

Do you feel that you identify more with Jesus as the betrayed or Judas as the betrayer? How is Judas’ betrayal replayed in our lives? How do our churches betray Jesus for pieces of silver?

What do we value more than knowing Jesus? This time of isolation is making our churches and we as church leaders take a long and hard look at what the church is. It’s a very apt question for us all.
